AusNCP accepts complaint from Environment Tasmania Incorporated

On 2 March 2026, the Australian National Contact Point for Responsible Business Conduct (AusNCP) published a statement confirming it has accepted a complaint from Environment Tasmania Incorporated.

The complaint concerns Woolworths Group Limited, one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest retailers.

An AusNCP Independent Examiner accepted the complaint after finding that it met the six Initial Assessment criteria set out in the AusNCP complaint procedures. You can read the Independent Examiner’s full statement at AusNCP Complaint 39.

The parties will now begin the dispute resolution phase of the complaints process.

The AusNCP's acceptance of this complaint does not mean that the actions of Woolworths Group Limited are inconsistent with the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises on Responsible Business Conduct.
