The Modern Slavery in Focus Seminar brings together listed companies and large investors to talk about modern slavery risks in global supply chains. They will examine how expectations, risks and responsibilities are changing around modern slavery in global supply chains and investments.
This seminar is only open to Australian Council of Superannuation Investors (ACSI) members and Australian Securities Exchange representatives.
AusNCP Board member Vanessa Zimmerman will speak at the session, Modern Slavery Seminar: Risks, Responsibilities and Actions.
The seminar will cover:
- what recent global and Australian developments mean for companies and investors
- practical challenges in identifying and addressing modern slavery risks, including real examples and lessons learned
- how boards, executives and investors can improve accountability and drive ongoing progress
