Australian Border Force releases new guidance for entities impacted by Covid-19

The ABF has developed guidance for entities impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, including reporting under the Modern Slavery Act 2018 and reducing the risk of vulnerable workers in their operations and supply chains becoming exposed to modern slavery as a result of COVID 19.

AusNCP

The Australian National Contact Point (AusNCP) is responsible for promoting the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises (an international standard on responsible business conduct) and providing conciliation services to resolve complaints against multinational enterprises. Complaints are managed by an AusNCP Independent Examiner, Mr John Southalan, who is supported by a Secretariat in the Department of the Treasury and a Governance and Advisory Board (GAB), which comprises representatives from government and non-government organisations.
